Continuing with series of cheap and free international voip phone calls, we will today discuss about Fizzcall. Thanks to Bharat Bhuta for letting us know about Fizzcall. In the past also, we have discussed about such services offering calls at a fixed price. Actually in these services you can talk for as long as you like for a fixed price during a single call.
Fizzcall Ltd is a private limited company based in Reading, UK. They were formed in 2008 only. They have succeeded in their goal to provide a simple international calling service, allowing a user to call from any phone or country for a single fixed price.
Fizzcall provides calls to mobiles phones and standard land lines around the world for a fixed price per call. Calls can be made to almost all destinations (India included in the list). However there are a few restrictions. I guess these services prove to be very cheap for those destinations where call rates are high viz. Pakistan, Dubai.
Some points to be noted -:
- At 25p per call : for up to 60 minutes.
- It doesn't matter where you are calling from or to, call price is always the same.
- Simply tell them your number and who you want to call and they will connect you both.
- Payments are taken via Google Checkout.
- There are no hidden fees, no connection charge, and no cost per minute. (Mentioned on their website).
Package1 (£1.50) : 5 calls
Package2 (£2.80) : 10 calls
Package3 (£5.00) : 20 calls
The only problem with these kinds of service is that either the voice quality is bad or the call gets terminated after sometime. I hope this does not happen with Fizzcall.
I think Fizzcall is atleast worth a try. There is lot of scope for money to be saved.

We wanted to thank you for the review and clear up any worries you might have about call quality, our service only uses grade A networks so the call quality will be of a very high standard. Calls do however have a maximum call time of 60 minutes per call.

Don't forget to look at banned countries. For example calling to Pakistan is not possible with Fizzcall.

We just wanted to clarify that calls to Pakistan ARE possible we just don't support calls to Pakistan mobile phones. However as you said it's always wise to check the banned countries list!

Yeah i liked the FIZZ CALL post, the problem i have is paying, i don't know how Google checkout is used, is it in our country? i am in Rwanda. what is 25p? is it pounds or what? and how much is it compared to our currency? how much can i be charged in order to send it for payment?

Google checkout can be used from Rwanda and indeed in most countries around the world.

Dear customer care support, i thank you for your response about how to pay using google checkout. but still having a problem about it. when i followed the process of google check out, i reached where they are asking for my Mastercard, Visa card,etc. so i dont have any of those credit cards, i dont even have a bank account, so what can do and how can i go about that? yet i want to pay for fizz call in order to make cheap calls. i am in Rwanda mind you.

Unfortunatly without a credit card or bank account we can't take payment for fizzcall calls.
